About

Practical ESG support shaped by engineering, data and business risk thinking.

I am Srivathsan Karunanithi, an Architectural Engineering graduate with experience across engineering, operational improvement and sustainability-focused project work. My ESG work focuses on helping SMEs understand their current position using the data they already have and turning it into clear, practical outputs.

About Srivathsan

My background is in Architectural Engineering, where I developed an understanding of energy use, environmental systems, technical reporting and performance improvement. Alongside this, I have gained experience in operational improvement, process mapping, documentation, stakeholder communication and data-led problem solving.

This combination shapes the way I approach ESG. I do not treat sustainability as a box-ticking exercise. I look at how ESG connects to real business issues such as energy costs, emissions, waste, workforce risks, supplier relationships, governance gaps and long-term resilience.

My background

Architectural Engineering, energy awareness, technical reporting, operational improvement, process mapping and structured data analysis.

Why I focus on SMEs

Many SMEs have useful operational data but limited ESG structure. My work helps turn that information into a baseline, a set of priorities and a practical roadmap.

How I work

A focused process for moving from scattered operational evidence to useful decisions.

01

Understand the business

Review operations, locations, suppliers, workforce, customers and key business risks.

02

Review available data

Use bills, invoices, fuel records, waste data, workforce information, policies and management notes.

03

Identify material ESG topics

Score topics using impact severity, business risk and stakeholder concern.

04

Turn findings into action

Create reports, dashboards, trackers, recommendations and implementation roadmaps.

Reference-based, practical and transparent

The work is developed in reference to recognised ESG and sustainability reporting concepts, including GRI-referenced structures where relevant. It does not constitute external assurance, certification or formal GRI assurance. The aim is to provide SMEs with a structured ESG baseline, data readiness, dashboards, trackers and practical next steps.

Need a clearer ESG starting point?

I help SMEs turn operational data into practical ESG baselines, dashboards and action plans.
